PRS Day 2018 @ Ish Guitars

Join us on September 22nd for our second annual PRS Day!  The event will feature demos from PRS featured guitarist Dustie Waring, musician Dave Weiner, and PRS product specialist Bryan Ewald. Ish Guitars will be discounting all in-stock PRS and custom orders by 10%, so if you've had your eye on a PRS piece, this will be the best time to purchase!  We will also hold a giveaway of an SE Holcomb Signature electric guitar - retailed at $899! The event will be held from 12-4PM at Ish Guitars' showroom located at 410 S Franklin St.

Dustie Waring:

Dustie Waring is a guitarist in the American prog metal band Between The Buried and Me. The band, known for their technical grooves, have an incredible ability to seamlessly transform styles from thick guitar riffs to lush soundscapes. The band recently completed recording of their latest studio album, set to release in early 2018.

Dustie has been an avid PRS endorser, releasing a core Limited Edition Custom 24 "Floyd" in 2014, and most recently the DW CE 24 "Floyd."

Dave Weiner:

Guitarist, engineer, producer and four-time Grammy nominee, Dave Weiner, has been playing guitar and writing music for 3 decades. Starting at age 10, within 3 years, Dave had an original band and released a full-length record; another one at age 16. After high school, Dave went to college where his cover band played countless gigs and upon graduating (with an Accounting degree!), he moved to Hollywood to attend Musician’s Institute: Guitar Institute of Technology. While at school, Dave interned for Vai’s manager. Through this work, Dave met Vai and eventually Steve heard a demo Dave had recorded and, impressed, invited him to join his band. That was 1999. 17 years, 10 world tours, multiple live dvd and cd releases and Dave is still Steve’s go-to guitarist. Dave also produces, has multiple records of his own released (daveweiner.com), is the creator and host of Guitopia.com, the internet’s premier guitar-education resource and is very active in his home community where he started the Philly Guitar Club (phillyguitarclub.com).

Bryan Ewald:

Bryan is an endorsing artist/brand ambassador for PRS guitars and amplifiers, a freelance guitarist (multi instrumentalist), session musician, writer and producer. In addition to the bands of which Bryan is/has been a member (Jarflys, Starbelly, Non-Fiction / Majesty Twelve, Technicolor Motorhome (tribute to Steely Dan), Dan Haas Band / Bens Bones, Meg & Bryan, Shane Gamble, Second Hand News (tribute to Fleetwood Mac), Greg Phillips Trio, Ellec...)
