Our in-house guitar repair technician took numerous photos of the exterior and interior details of this bass, as well as blacklight photos. We can not attach all of them to this listing given photo upload limits on selling sites. Please contact us if you are interested in the bass and would like to see the photos we took.

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER

Weight: 8.0lbs

Case: Original Hardshell Case

Year: 1967

Cosmetic Condition:  Bass is in very good condition.  There is playwear, dings, and scratches throughout.  Some areas around the edges have worn through the finish as well.   See our listing photos for a closer look.

Tech Notes: This guitar has had a few modifications to note.  Our in house luthier gave it a refret, plane, and shimmed neck pocket, and a new nut was put on (Graphtech TUSQ).  Dunlop strap buttons were installed at some point as well as new pickup foam added and a washer on the back of one of the tuners was replaced. Both ashtrays are missing. 45-105 strings installed, playing great with medium action and minimal relief.  Two pot codes cannot be fully read for the date, but they appear to be original.  Pickups state ‘67, neck states Dec of 66’. With this noted, we have to assume this was a early 1967 model as the most recently made part was made in January of 1967, even if the serial is 1966. Great guitar for a player or collector alike.  To the best of our knowledge everything else appears to be original.  Great player! Comes with a Fender strap and Dunlop locks.

Pickup Impedance: bridge 6.69k, neck 6.49k

Nut Width: 1.5”

12th Fret Width: 2.2”

Depth at Nut:     .9”

Depth at 12th: .95”

String Spacing (Bass Only mm): 20mm

Fretboard Radius: 7.25”

Truss Rod Action: SINGLE

Truss Rod Functioning: yes

Fret Size/Shape: medium height wide

Describe Neck Profile:  jazz slim

Pot Markings: 1376618
