DESCRIPTION

Unique Fender Jazz Bass parts build featuring a neck, hardware, and original electronics from a rare 1982 Fender Collector Series Gold Jazz Bass. The body is a professionally refinished natural Made in Mexico Fender body (originally red), along with replacement pickups and pickguard. A great-playing, one-of-a-kind Fender that combines genuine vintage Collector Series components with a clean natural finish.

Condition: Very good with some scratching and dings throughout.  

Guitar, Hardware, and Electronics have been cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Fretboard cleaned and Frets polished. No fret wear or fret buzz evident. Setup with minimal neck relief and medium/low action. Plays great throughout the entire neck with consistent intonation. Fantastic feeling/sounding instrument with a long life ahead of it.

Tech Notes: Bass, Hardware, and Electronics have been cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Fretboard cleaned and Frets polished. Frets have been leveled in the past, but have plenty of life left and are properly crowned and dressed. Setup with minimal neck relief and medium/low action. Plays great throughout the entire neck with consistent intonation.

Mods/Repairs/Issues:

• The neck, electronics, and hardware all came from a 1982 Fender Collector Series Gold Jazz Bass. Neck Date code matches the end of 1981 and pot codes indicate 1982 which would be accurate for the model.
• Non Original Bartolini Pickup Set. (see details below)
• Non Original Pickguard. 
  
• Made in Mexico Refinished Natural body evident of the "stash" CNC routing hole underneath the bridge. 
• E tuner turns slightly off center, but no impact on the tuning stability/function of the tuner. 
• Full Neck Pocket shim required to properly address the neck angle for the MIM body. 
• Strap button has been moved/re-drilled and hole filled.
