The guitar has a few noteworthy mods, this is especially important because the original slip from Rumbleseat has a few things that are now not accurate, all for the better. See the * items below
*Both pickups are both zebra PAFs purchased from James Cole (the guitarist from the Classic Rock Show). With confirming emails. The covers were put on from Cole and he said they are from the era, but not original to the PAFs.
*After careful examination we believe the neck pickup has a replacement PAF sticker. The pickups themselves are legitimate for sure and we have emails back and forth from James Cole and the previous owner to show their origin.
*The pickguard and bracket are original from 1958, not replicas
*The knobs are now original from 1959, not replicas
The bridge and tailpiece are original 1959, not replicas and none included with
*The original Grovers, from 1959, have one replacement screw (the one that holds it to the body, see the picture on the included drive link
*The electronics sound fantastic and all the pots of the original 1959 harness feel and work perfectly. One pot was replaced with an exact 1959 pot and wired in as the old one had a very small dead spot.
*We checked to know for certain the weight is 9.2lb.
The guitar plays phenomenally with no buzz, medium-low action and minimal relief. It feels even and smooth with no detectable fret wear.
There are no structural repairs or issues of any kind with the guitar. Just the mods listed
