Year: 1998

Condition: Very good with some various scratches and dings throughout.  Neck pocket finish cracks on each side of the neck pocket.  G string tuner button is slightly bent.  Strings have worn into the fretboard a bit over the years above the nut.  Deeper scratch below bridge on top. 

Tech Notes: Bass, Hardware, and Electronics have been cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Fretboard cleaned with no buzz evident. Setup with minimal neck relief and medium/low action. Plays great throughout the entire neck with consistent intonation. Some wear marks and minor cosmetic dings from a previous owner who clearly loved the sound and playability of this instrument. Great variety of tone control using the adjustable mid freq via the internal dip switches/bartolini preamp. 

Mods/Repairs/Issues: Custom/Modded fret markers/lines. Some string wear/nut wear behind the nut. This has no impact on the playability of the bass. Two minor neck pocket finish cracks which are structurally stable and purely cosmetic. G string tuner button is slightly bent (not the shaft but the actual tuner button). Turns fine and has no impact on the tuning stability.

Bartolini NTMB-L Preamp. With adjustable DIP Switches to change Mid FREQ control. Adjustable Output gain control mini pot.  

Pickups: Bartolini MM42k3 Bridge, 9K-S3 Neck 

String Gauge: 40 - 100 (D'Addario Chromes Custom Light ECB84)
- These can be changed upon purchase of the instrument with additional string charge for the outgoing setup.
