2000 Alembic Spoiler 7-String Bass Lined Fretless Natural
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes:
Bass is playing evenly throughout the entire neck with comfortable action. Bass, Hardware, and Electronics cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Setup with minimal neck relief, comfortable medium/low action and 22 - 130 gauge half rounds which have plenty of life left in them.
Electronic Controls: 1 Volume, 1 Pickup Selector (bypass, neck, neck and bridge, bridge), 1 Q (Freq) On/Off Switch, and 1 Tone Control (which functions as the adjustment when the Q switch is on).
When we received the bass there were a few small hairline cracks in the fretboard that we filled. These cracks were repaired/filled, purely as a cosmetic issue, and are not an issue as far as the structural integrity of the wood. You can see evidence of the original crack around frets 1-2 between the A/D strings. . We also needed to re-splice the 9V battery power clip.
There are 2 small cracks coming off the pickup selector knob and tone control. These appear, to the best of our knowledge and expertise, to only be finish cracks and not into the wood. No concerns for the crack spreading/continuing.
You also can lightly feel the lamination on the back of the neck because of the different density of wood types.
1 latch on the case is broken.
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition. Various tiny dings and light scratches on the front and back of the body. Marks, light scratching present on the back of the headstock. Small scratch on the fretboard.
Case: Original Hardshell Case - one of the latches is broken
Weight: 14.2 lbs
