2022 Martin 5K Soprano Ukulele Koa
DESCRIPTION
With the rise of Hawaiian music in the late 1910s, Martin began making ukuleles. The line expanded from mahogany to more elaborate Hawaiian koa models. A soprano-sized model, the 5K Uke is the ukulele equivalent of a Style 45 guitar – the top of the line. The 5K Uke is crafted with solid highly-flamed Hawaiian koa top, back and sides finished in a polished gloss, and trimmed with abalone pearl appointments. High quality, beautiful tone and ease of playability make the 5K Uke a joy to own.
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
All of our instruments come with a FREE professional setup tailored to your individual tuning and string gauge preferences, if available. Our setups always include, if applicable, action, intonation, trem angle, and truss rod adjustments. If needed, we smooth out fret edges, address any nut or bridge shim issues, polish the frets, and condition the fingerboard. All work is completed by our experienced tech team who understand what today's players want from their instruments. If not otherwise requested, our techs will setup each instrument to a comfortable medium/low action with minimal truss rod relief dependent on the instrument style. Please reach out after purchase if you have any specific requests about your setup.
