A Minotaur 5 String Short Scale Bass Guitar with Piezo only pickups and a Macassar Ebony top - a new collaboration with Joe Veillette!
Working with Joe Veillette, I intentionally designed this bass to play fast and sound like nothing you have in your collection currently. I went with a just slightly shorter scale length of 33" to make it play ultra-fast without losing the clarity you usually hear with a 34" scale.

An ebony board and maple neck were used to keep the tone snappy, and the piezo-only electronics let you get tones anywhere from classic upright and acoustic bass sounds to zingy aggressive tone that even sounds great with some distortion through it.
FULLY SETUP - TECH INSPECTED
Don't let the black tape wound strings fool you - this bass RIPS! Its as versatile as a P Bass and was intentionally designed as such. Bring her home before someone else does, this is a 1-off bass and we will not be making another.
