SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes: This piece was gone through entirely consisting of a neck shim (to correct neck angle), setup, cleaned, as well as a pot and cap were replaced to try to correct the volume roll off on the tone control, I was unable to correct that however. Setup to a medium action with medium low relief, the truss rod functions perfectly without issue.
The tuners are just a bit weathered but seem to hold tune when you tune "up to" pitch, the tremolo system was missing an arm so I found a long arm I was able to fix in place with a few washers and nuts. The tremolo does have trouble returning to the same place which is why it can exhibit some tuning issues. Playability is medium action, with medium relief 6/64" to 5/64" measured at the 12th fret low string to high respectively, .012" relief. For the most part it plays great, evenly and comfortably, but there are a few high frets scattered around, including a good portion of the frets above the 14th fret. Wonder collectors piece in great condition for the age. Very playable as is!
