First introduced in 2003, the Songwriter combines Gibson’s time-honored bracing patterns of the 1930s, with our original dreadnought shape, providing a supreme tonal quality. Featuring beautiful rosewood back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top. The Songwriter Deluxe Studio is Gibson’s modern rosewood dreadnought with a superior dynamic range.

Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in very good condition. There are some scratches on the back of the guitar as well as a few small dings in the finish below the high e string as well as just above the bridge. Guitar does also have some light fretwear that can be seen in our listing photos.

Tech Notes: Great player with medium/low action and flat relief. Strung with 12-54 Elixir Phosphor Bronze strings. Light fretwear on the two high strings up to about the 9th fret. Plenty of room on the saddle and neck angle is great.
