Martin D-42 Style Custom Shop - Quilted Pommele Sapele Premium Mahogany
DESCRIPTION
Martin's D-42 is a legendary instrument, based on the infamous Dreadnought body shape of the early 1900's but adorned with beautiful pearl inlays and premium tone woods. We took it a step farther with this D-42 inspired Custom Shop build, adding highly figured Quilted Pommele Sapele to the top, back, and sides from a matching set of wood that Ish's design team found while digging through the wood vault at the Martin factory.
The wood choice isn't just stunningly beautiful - it also sounds incredible. This D-42 has a dark-but-clear voice, perfect for those of you who only own Spruce topped dreadnoughts and are looking for a different tone.

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
