DESCRIPTION

Cole Clark acoustic guitars stand out as the only mainstream steel-string acoustics to utilize Spanish heel, or integral neck construction. This design means the neck is glued directly to the guitar's face, alongside the sides and back, creating a single, continuous neck structure that extends all the way to the soundhole. In contrast, other guitars are typically assembled by building the body first, then attaching the neck separately, often using a bolt or dovetail joint. This integral neck construction is crucial to Cole Clark’s advanced pickup technology and gives the guitars a distinctive character. Additionally, Cole Clark guitars feature carved tops and backs and employ a ridge system to connect the sides to the top and back, forgoing traditional kerfing.

The Cole Clark PG3 three-way pickup system is regarded as one of the most acoustic-sounding pickups available. Designed to capture a more natural tone when amplified and reduce the typical piezo "quack," this pickup system comprises three elements that are each dedicated to specific frequency ranges. Six loaded piezos under the saddle capture low-end frequencies, a face sensor blends in mid-to-high frequencies (up to a 350 Hz crossover), and a condenser microphone is fine-tuned to capture only the highest frequencies. 

Cole Clark guitars are crafted from all-solid timber, primarily using native Australian tonewoods. They are among the most sustainable guitars globally, with 98% of their guitars containing no endangered timber.

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
