The newly-updated EC-1000 is a masterpiece in high-performance guitar for the modern era. Start with the classics: a glossy black-finished beauty with gleaming gold hardware and special aesthetic touches like multi-ply body and headstock binding. Its set-thru construction at 24.75” scale with a mahogany body and three-piece fully-bound mahogany neck also draw from the traditional school of single-cut guitar design. But the EC-1000 Fluence also offers the modern amenities for today’s music performance styles, including a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, LTD locking tuners, a Macassar ebony fingerboard with ESP flag inlays, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. This guitar also includes a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and gold covers to match this guitar’s amazing aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high-output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker tone you’ve always wanted.

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
