Based on the first concept prototypes, the Original NX can be deemed the model that started a revolution in modern guitar design and takes the electric guitar into the 21st century. Ever evolving to meet the requirements of players and the changing times, the Original NX model lineup has been refined with sustainable materials that sound great, updated hardware components for improved functionality and reliability, enhanced ergonomics for even greater comfort and playability, and subtle visual tweaks to further refine the Boden playing experience.
The Boden Original was the model that started it all and has now evolved with new updates that further improve the playing experience. Featuring a lightweight chambered Swamp Ash body mated with solid Maple top and premium grade Flame or Quilted Maple veneer along with carbon-reinforced Maple neck and Birdseye Maple fretboard, the Original NX is acoustically resonant with a punchy sound that is faithfully delivered to your amplification system with either Suhr™ passive pickups for the 6-string model or Fishman™ active pickups for the 7- and 8-string models. The Original NX is a sleek tone machine designed for the 21st century musician constantly on the move and who loves to explore the world.
The Boden Original NX is for the forward-thinking musician who is not held back by traditions and is always seeking to innovate and break new ground.
