1953 Gibson TG-50 Tenor Guitar Sunburst
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes: Great player with medium/low action and flat relief. We strung this with a pack of 10-30 Tenor strings. It plays very easily up and down the board with almost no fretwear what so ever. The board also shows no signs of wear. We did replace the original tuners with a set of Kulson tuners, as the original tuning buttons are made of a very fragile material and broke off. Original tuners are in the case. All other parts appear to be original. With the low action and thin strings there is a little bit of buzzing past the 12th fret on the high e, this could easily be remedied by slightly higher action. The guitar shows no signs of breaks, repairs, mods or refinish work and came up clean on blacklighting. Please ask if you have any questions!
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in very good condition. There are some scratching areas on the upper area of the top where the finish is darker that are slightly through the finish. There are also a few areas of scratching on the side and back of the guitar. The headstock has a few chips and dings as well.
Case: Original Hardshell Case
Weight: 4.3 lbs
