Case: Amp Cover

Year: 1957

Condition: Excellent condition for its era. There are some areas of wear/scuffing on the tolex, particularly visible on the corner of the enclosure where the tolex has worn down and wood is visible. 

Tech Notes: Fully Scoped and serviced by local legendary amp builder/technician of Retro-King Amplifiers. Great sounding vintage fender deluxe combo amp delivering all of our favorite legendary tones in fantastic cosmetic condition. 

Speaker: Original era 1959 Jensen P12R Speaker. Not original speaker to amp. Wiring harness not original. Speaker re-coned with correct ribbed cone. 

Capacitors: All bypass + coupling cap have been replaced (except one bypass cap). Bias resistor + cap replaced all with vintage high quality era appropriate specs. 

Tubes: Pair of Sovtek 6V6Gt tubes. Vintage RCA 5Y3 rectifier tube. 1 Sovtek 12AX7 preamp tube 1 Electro-Harmonix 12AY7 preamp tube . All tubes tested and functioning appropriately. 

Transformers: Original Triad Power Transformer (#6452) Original Output Transformer (#50246)

Cab/Tolex: Original cab and tweed tolex

Original resistors, original pots, original sockets and jacks, original knobs and switches. All functioning appropriately without any scratchiness or inconsistencies. 

Original 2 prong power cord. 

Service Work on amp:

• All pots, sockets and jacks cleaned with Deoxit.
• All tubes checked and inspected.
• Re-tensioned power tube socket pins.
• Replaced 3 inconsistent filter caps with quality replacements.
• Replaced 350 ohm bias resistor to correct 250 ohm.
• All components checked and within spec. 
• All solder joints inspected for continuity.
