Get your twang on with this nearly original rock and roll machine. This 1968 Fender Telecaster Custom is stock except a refinish that stripped the original sunburst and traded its dusky jewel looks for a fresh coat of teal. As with the vast majority of Fender guitars after 1962, the neck has a rosewood veneer that’s been laminated to a solid maple neck. If you’re looking for an excellent vintage players grade guitar then this is the axe for you! (Only calling this a player grade vintage guitar due to the refinish, cosmetically and playability wise this is almost as good as it gets!!)
Photos included of the neck date stamp, electronics, pickup, and under the bridge. More photos of internals can be supplied if needed! Just ask.
Just set up by our tech and plays great!

Some checking in the finish along the neck with some by the heel as well there are two small dents in the neck, one behind the 4th fret, it’s about half the size of a pencil eraser, and a second one behind th 13th fret. This second dent is smaller than the one behind the 4th fret. Neither really get in the way of any playability or feel awkward while fretting
Fret wear: The vintage frets have some wear in the usual cowboty chords, but the wear is not heavy and it does not slow down or harm the playability of this sweet Telecaster

Tech Inspection Report: Plays well with low action, vintage frets have life left in them, typical playability of 7.25” radius neck you get a little fight in the upper registers, overall excellent player grade vintage guitar
