Year: 1970
Condition: Very good with general signs of wear throughout. Handful of chips on on the body as well as some buckle rash on the back. Some finish discoloration on the sides of the bass.
Tech Notes: Bass, Hardware, and Electronics have been cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Fretboard cleaned and Frets polished. No fret wear however fret height is lower on this instrument due to previous leveling (original frets). Setup with minimal neck relief and standard Fender action. Plays great throughout the entire neck with consistent intonation. Fantastic feeling/sounding instrument with a long life ahead of it. All original.
Mods/Repairs/Issues:
- Original Nut required some filling/recutting.
- Small ramp at end of neck required a shim and some partial leveling to correct the issue.
- Slightly stiff E and D string tuners.
