TRADES - LAYAWAY - 0% FINANCING

Weight: 5.1lbs

Case: No case or gig bag included - we are expert guitar shippers and the guitar will arrive to you safe and sound even without a case. Or, please feel free to contact us about purchasing a case from us to ship the guitar in.

Year: 1976

Cosmetic Condition: Very good.  The guitar does have some checking on the top as well as on the headstock.  The checking is finish deep only, to be expected from many instruments from the 60s and 70s.  There are some various dings and imperfections around the guitar from years of use but overall it is in pretty good shape for a 1976 Martin. This guitar sounds absolutely incredible.

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER

Tech Notes: When we received the instrument the bridge was slightly lifted, so we carefully heated, removed, cleaned, fit and reglue the bridge back down flush.  It needed a new saddle (graphtech tusq), and a setup.  It setup perfectly to Martin spec action.  3/32" on the low e, 2/32 on the high e with .008" relief.  We used 12 gauge strings, and there is a fair amount of room left on the saddle for further adjustments.  We were told by the original owner that a neck reset was performed at one time during it's life.  The owner had a Fishman Matrix system installed and it appears the tuners have been upgraded to Grover Butterbean style.  Very small fret divots on the first 3 frets, on the high two strings only, this does not affect playability in the slightest. Checking on the top all appears to be finish deep only, which is to be expected for a guitar of this age.
