1974 Gibson Heritage Custom Acoustic Guitar Natural
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes: The guitar plays a bit high with minimal relief. The saddle is low and the neck is rather straight. The neck angle is definitely low and a neck reset would be needed to make this play perfectly. However as it is, it does still play comfortably with 8/64" action on the low E and 6/64" action on the high E. Lower down the neck it still plays great especially for more of a strummer. There is a crack extending from the bridge to the soundhole that was repaired at some point, as well as a little bit of bridge lift, and bridge stress cracks (see photo). The bridge appears stable as the bridge lift is just at the edge and sides and doesn't seem to be a full on structural issue at this point. There are two thin stress fractures on the bridge as well, but as mentioned before it doesn't appear to be an issue for holding the guitar to the body at this point. There is little fret wear and no board wear. Ask if you have any questions.
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in good condition with a handful of imperfections. The most notable imperfection is a very slight bridge lift that is explained below in our tech notes description. There is also a crack that runs from the bridge to the soundhole also described below in our tech notes. There are a few other various dings and scratches around the guitar that can be seen in our listing photos.
Case: Original Hardshell Case
