SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes: Great playing and sounding luthier built guitar. Fret ends were dressed in our care. The frets themselves have light wear mainly on the G string first two positions. The fret angle appears spot on, the action and relief are set to medium/low and near flat respectively. The bridge seems stable and is not lifting. There appears to be a crack at the bottom, perhaps it was dropped on the endpin. From what I see no light passes through the crack and I believe to the best of my knowledge it to be a stress finish crack and nothing more, regardless it is very stable and positioned right at the end block which makes me believe it to be finish deep only. There also is a small crack on the soundboard on the bottom of the lower bout. Again, this appear to be surface deep only, as no light passes through and there is no top flex around the crack. I do not believe this to be all the way through due to lack of flex, light passing through and in combination with the position of the crack (right above the kerfing). In both these cases it would be highly unusual for the cracks to go all the way through since the position of the crack is glued to a backing (kerfing and the endblock). Also in both of these cases they appear to be very stable.
