SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.

INDIVIDUALLY PHOTOGRAPHED

After 15 years of innovation in our photography process, Ish Guitars has developed a way to get you the most accurate true-to-life color of every instrument we sell. We never embellish, oversaturate, or misrepresent our images, so that your buying experience can be as much like visiting our showroom as possible. Keep in mind that various computer screens can show colors a bit differently, so the color on your screen may not match the real thing perfectly no matter how hard we try. Also, unless otherwise noted, we individually list and photo every piece of gear that comes through our doors.

Tech Notes: Guitar, Hardware, and Electronics were cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Fretboard Cleaned and frets polished. No issues with fret rock/inconsistencies. Setup with minimal neck relief and comfortable medium low action. Dual truss rods were inspected and are functioning appropriately. All hardware and electronics appear to the best of our knowledge to be original to the bass. Fantastic playing vintage Alembic Series 1 bass which has a long life of play ahead of it.

Mods or Repairs: This bass was sent back to Alembic once in the past for a small headstock crack repair. Very hard to see the crack repair and it appears either a stinger was added/replaced during this repair. Electronics have been modified to use only the 1/4" output jack and 9v batteries. This instrument does not come with the Alembic DS5 Blue Box which used the 5 Pin output. A couple of the control knobs had some cracks/splits by the tightening screw, these were glued/repaired.

Neck Profile: C Shape

Neck Thickness: 1st: 0.86" / 12th: 0.97"

Fingerboard Radius: 12"

Nut Width: 1.75" (1 3/4")

Scale Length: 34"

Electronics Layout: 2 Volume, 2 Filter, 2 Q-Mid Switches. Horn Toggle switch controls the pickup selector (Neck, Neck/Bridge, Bridge, Off). This off does not disconnect the battery, if left on in this setting it will drain the battery as long as the instrument is plugged in. Original Preamp trimpots on the back control panel of the bass also are working appropriately (Bridge Gain, Bridge Hum Control, Treble Hum Control, Treble Gain).

String Gauge: 45 - 105

String Spacing: 17mm

Tools Included: None

Please note: All measurements are taken in-house. While we strive for accuracy, slight variations may occur compared to manufacturer specifications due to the nature of hand-measuring.
