1981 G&L L-2000E Bass Series Natural
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
Weight: 11.0lbs
Case Details: Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition. Good amount of playwear including scratches, minor indentations on the body, some small finish chips on the sides, as well as general hardware corrosion. Case has some wear/tears in tolex as well.
Tech Notes: Guitar, Hardware, and Electronics were cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. There appears to be an issue with one of the coils on the bridge pickup when splitting with the series/parallel switch. You will notice one of these positions will cut out indicating and issue with a coil. Otherwise the pickup still sounds great and is balanced to the output of the neck pickup. Setup with minimal neck relief and medium action. Plays evenly throughout the entire neck, with some faint fret buzz when digging in very hard on the low E string. There were some higher frets when we acquired this bass that required a full fret level, re-crown, and polish. This appears to not be the first time this bass had a fret level and as a result the frets are a bit lower than average height. Still plays comfortably however throughout the fretboard! Tons of great pickup switching/tone options with the unique Triamp Preamp from G&L.
Mods or Repairs: See above.
