1986 Pedulla MVP Bass Black
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes: Bass, Hardware, and electronics were cleaned/tested and are functioning 100%. Frets were cleaned and polished. Minimal neck relief, medium action, and comfortable playability throughout the entire neck. Slight buzzing on the open A string when playing hard. The bass was sold to us from a good customer and there are a few quirks. For one, a small gouge was filled and touch-up refinished on the neck of it, although it would be impossible to photo or see clearly, it is there and well done. Additionally, it appears clear that it was refretted and while it refretted it the board was re-radiused, as it should be during a refret. During that process the side dots position is now slightly exposed in certain areas. This by no way affects structural integrity in any sense of the meaning. The ebony is thick, strong and has plenty of wood for no worries of any issues stemming from the radiusing process. The electronics are all in perfect working order. The preamp was changed to a Bartolini TBIBT, the controls are as follows: master volume, blend, low and high EQ, active/passive, plugged in indicator light, and a dead non hooked up 3 way switch.
Cosmetic Condition: Bass is in very good condition with a good amount of scratching in the gloss black finish. There are also a handful of dings and chips in the finish on the headstock and body/back of the guitar. The back of the guitar also has a few areas that appear to be a bit of bubbling in the finish. See our listing photos.
