1988 PRS Custom 24 Signature Quilted Maple Whale Blue #287/1000
The PRS Custom 24 Signature guitars built in 1988 and 1989 were limited to only 1000 pieces - ours featured here is #287. This was the best-of-the-best materials that PRS had in the era, essentially like Private Stock before it was created later in 1996.
Our Custom 24 Signature is no exception, featuring an insane quilted maple top in fan-favorite Whale Blue finish. This guitar has clearly been taken care of with very little wear especially considering its age. We subjected this guitar to our "SuperTech" process which verified its components have been un-modified and kept perfectly original.
Given the quality of this collectible piece, this Signature will find it's home in a wonderful collection in no time - I sure hope its yours!

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes: Everything looks bone stock, not a single wire resoldered or screw removed, all original, setup to PRS spec action with 10-46 strings, no fretwear or buzzing. Blacklighting reveals a meticulously cared for guitar with no breaks or flaws. One small area seen in blacklight appears to be a wear mark. A little scuffing underneath the bridge, looks like someone was pulling back hard on the tremolo and scratched the paint.
