PRS Private Stock Custom 24 Hollowbody Piezo Spalted Guitar # 7791 

Hey internet, Jesse at Ish Guitars here. I custom spec'd this *wild* PRS Private Stock Custom 24 Hollowbody II several years ago, and the build was so specific it too a long time (3 years?) to get finished. 

First and foremost - this guitar is technically not a Hollowbody II, although its built very much like one. In order to hit all my build goals I started with a Custom 24, had PRS add a carved back and deep carved top, and carve the inside as hollow as possible. This gives us 24 frets and a top without F holes giving more surface area for the top to resonate. 

There are no magnetic pickups in this guitar, only a piezo with a single volume knob. Need to tweak the tone? Use your amp or that super expensive pedal board you likely own. There is a single output with a 9V battery compartment on the side of the guitar similar to a Hollowbody II Piezo. And not to mention, it sounds -stellar- when plugged in. In our YouTube video we compared it back to back (plugged in) with a Taylor 914ce acoustic, and genuinely the PRS sounds better.

This guitar is genuinely impossible to photo - its beauty can really only be captured on video so make sure to watch our YouTube. The painted portions of the spalted maple top have a special type of metallic paint that can only be seen at certain angles. At some points, the guitar looks completely natural, at other points the spalted areas look completely opaque white or silver with no grain showing through.

This is an insane, 1-off build that has been years in development with tons of new ideas from both myself and Private Stock Director Paul Miles. If you are lucky enough to be the person that gets to bring this guitar home, I promise you will have a true playing and tonal experience like no other guitar in your collection.
