This Ibanez Bass Workshop SRMS805 5 string multi-scale bass is their take on the unique and highly playable Fanned Fret fingerboards. "Fanning" the frets creates more equal tension across the neck, improves tone, and even ergonomically follows the shape of your hand.
Between the exotic top, fanned frets and Bartoloni pickups this is the perfect example of a contemporary instrument.
