Personal description from Anders Mattisson:
"This bass is a one of a kind build based on the Mattison Series IV model - it was built to be a ”show stopper." Inlay artist Magnus was given the freedom to make the most intricate inlay ever made. When he saw the Redwood burl top we were going to use for the bass, he thought it resembled the surface of the planet March, so he came up with this idea about the space tents. The sound hole in the body part, that resembles the different rock layers of a planet, is thought to symbolize a crater. It has a ”Fatboy” shape ( over 2” thick ) and is chambered in the upper body half as well as in the Timbre (tone) block part of the neck."
