Back in 2015, Fodera released a very limited run of Emperor 5 Standard Specials that featured Flamed Redwood tops, Black Limba bodies, and Birdseye Maple fingerboards. These stunning basses were among the most popular Standard Specials we have ever built, and we have been asked by numerous customers and dealers to do a re-release but until now we have not had enough suitable Flamed Redwood available to do another run.
