I personally picked the wood at the PRS Private Stock Wood Vault and designed this guitar. It is 1 of a pair, called the "Light Eagle" and "Dark Eagle". These guitars are built as fraternal twins - both carried the same neck profile, top wood, and pickup design (of which I created and based upon the Super Eagle, but more versatile for my taste), but were built as opposites in both tone and looks.

The Light Eagle looks brighter and sounds brighter and glassier, the Dark Eagle looks darker and sounds thicker and more aggressive - this is achieved using only my selection of tone woods and materials (identical electronics, remember?).

Curly ebony fretboard (didn’t even know that was possible!)

85/15 pickups with narrow field humbucker in center
3 coil splits, one for each pickup
3 way switch (standard PRS/Les Paul style switching)
Heres the secret… pull up on the tone knob to turn on the center pickup for any combination of humbuckers and single coils!

Custom carbon fiber wrapped case with gold hardware to match the guitar

Soon to come: Carbon Fiber back plates and truss rod cover to match the case. PRS could not make these in-house so a 3rd party is working on them for us now and they will be included with the guitar when they are ready.
