This handmade in Saugerties, NY bass has some killer woods, especially on a P bass.
Bahama Blue over Perfect Quilted Maple
The top of this bass is made from a near-perfect piece of Quilted Maple. The book matching is almost exact, which is extremely hard to get in any piece of wood. The quilt is deep and consistent, making the color "Bahama Blue" really live up to its name looking like the ocean in the Bahamas.
Aguilar Electronics
Aguilar Hot P pickup and OPB-2 Electronics give this bass classic P growl with some modern versatility. The 3 knob setup looks classic but has lots of features. There is a single volume, single tone knob, with push/pull for passive, and treble and bass (boost and cut) stacked.You can go all passive, all active, or get somewhere in between - its the perfect P bass electronics for the modern musician.
Birdseye Maple Fretboard
This special fretboard not only looks sexy, but sounds great for a perfect 70's P bass tone. Also featured are Spector's trademarked abalone "Crown" inlays for a unique and subtle touch.
