DESCRIPTION
The Spector Woodstock Custom Collection Volume II is all about experimenting as creatives, trying new things, and pushing the boundaries of what a Spector bass can be. Every one of the 12 basses is what happens when the skilled people who work on our instruments every day get to create their own take on Spector’s iconic design. The results are works of art, inspiring musical tools, and a demonstration of our Custom Shop's unmatched craftsmanship.
These one-of-a-kind instruments also represent the unique stories and styles of the individuals who make up our talented Spector team. That’s why we are so thrilled to share them— and the people they represent—with you. Far from a simple artistic exercise, these basses will inspire our customers and ourselves far into the future.

Growing up, few memories are more vivid than the ground-up restoration of my dad's 1971 Datsun 240Z. When I asked my dad why he picked the orange finish, he told me that, at that time, there was a waitlist. When the dealer called your name, you took what they had, or you had to keep waiting. When my dad finally got the call, orange was what they had, so orange is what he got! This bass is a nod to my dad and the time and energy he put into faithfully restoring his classic 240Z. From its silver-like fingerboard inlays, which represent the 240Z's aluminum kick panels and trim, to the way the monstrous-sounding pickup resembles the car's black bucket seats, everything pays tribute to that memory.

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
