DESCRIPTION
The Spector Woodstock Custom Collection Volume II is all about experimenting as creatives, trying new things, and pushing the boundaries of what a Spector bass can be. Every one of the 12 basses is what happens when the skilled people who work on our instruments every day get to create their own take on Spector’s iconic design. The results are works of art, inspiring musical tools, and a demonstration of our Custom Shop's unmatched craftsmanship.
These one-of-a-kind instruments also represent the unique stories and styles of the individuals who make up our talented Spector team. That’s why we are so thrilled to share them— and the people they represent—with you. Far from a simple artistic exercise, these basses will inspire our customers and ourselves far into the future.
Jesse/Tim:
Tim and I got the idea for our Woodstock bass collaboration after discovering the shop's history with color shift instruments. While we have done both color shift and stain fades before, a faded color shift was uncharted territory. Drawn to the mesmerizing green to purple color shift paint, we explored different concepts, ultimately opting for the distinctive fade up the instrument, a choice that we were ultimately very pleased with, and we hope you will be too.
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
