Vigier Arpege IV Custom Fretless 4-String Bass Deep Deep Blue Imetal Fretboard
This model is a fretless variant of the Arpege IV model. It features a phenowood fingerboard with side dot position markers, 1.57" wide teflon nut, 11.80" radius and no frets. At the opposing side of the 33-4/5" scale, a monorail bridge is installed. It features four separate and fully independent saddles and gold plating. In the pickup area Vigier employs a pair of their own single coil pickups for the amplification job. They are controlled through a set of five pots. Master volume and balance are accompanied by three-band equalizer. The body on this Arpege is made of three layers. Back is made of flamed maple, middle section is made of alder and flamed maple is again features at the top. The top is carved and finished in varnish gloss.
